I took this photo in March of 2007 near the Chicago city limits. A northbound Canadian Pacific Railroad intermodal transfer train, is passing over the Canadian National -ex Illinois Central crosstracks at Hawthorne Junction. The Canadian Pacific is still using some of these former Soo Line cabooses on some of it's transfer trains and switching locals in 2007. The Canadian Pacific train is traveling north on the Belt Railway of Chicago's north-south line to the interchange at Craigin Junction. The Canadian Pacific absorbed the Soo Line in a 1990 merger.
