German steam in Indiana. The Hesston Steam Museum. Hesston Indiana. July 2007.

I took this photo during a July 2007 visit to The Hesston Steam Museum, located in northwest Indiana just south of the border town of New Buffalo Michigan.

A Meter Guage ( U.S 2 Foot Guage) 0-8-0 steam locomotive from the European Nation formerly known as East Germany, is viewed rounding a curve with open coaches originally operated at Chicago's Brookfield Zoo from 1967 until 1985.

The Hesston Steam Museum is a very nice family oriented place to visit. For more information, click on to www.hesston.org
