I took this photograph in July of 1988, at the annual
summer carnival held at Saint Richards catholic church.
Saint Richards is located on South Kostner Avenue at West 50th Street near Chicago's Midway Airport.

For a number of years, I was a regular visitor at
the Saint Richards Carnival. It was the highlight
of My summer here in the city of Chicago Illinois.
I always looked foreward to it every year back then.

In 1988, the Parish did a South Pacific -Hawaiin theme
for their annual summer event. The nearby, and now gone
Red Barrel Restaurant donated really good food yearly.
