Seen here on West Burlington Avenue in downtown La Grange Illinois, is the very lovely and architecturally stylish La Grange Road Metra commuter rail station in Chicago's western suburbs. This facility is also served by the Amtrak Illinois Zephyr passenger train wich runs from Chicago to Quincy Illinois. I took this photo on a lovely late Spring afternoon in early June of 2007. This commuter rail station is located on the BNSF Railway mainline. This is a very active place for railfan photographers to visit with frequent commuter and freight train activity.Monday, June 25, 2007
