I spotted these Kansas City Southern Railroad coiled steel cars, on a southbound Canadian Pacific freight train. The old KCS logo and pre 1969 Southern Belle passenger train colors, are being revived by the current KCS management.Although the Kansas City Southern was never a Chicago area railroad, just seeing their colorfull equipment passing through the windy city occasionally is a real treet for this railfan.
