School was officially out for the summer approximately one week when I took this photo. Seen here are some of the Carnival style rides at Chicago's Kiddieland Amusement Park in near northwest suburban Melrose Park Illinois.In the early opening part of the season during the Spring, the park is only open on the weekends. Once the local schools close for their annual summer vacations, the park is officially open 7 days a week. Once the classes resume after the Labor Day Weekend...it is back to weekends only until closing day at the end of the season. The last weeks of the season find the park decorated for Halloween. For now, lets enjoy this view of a brand new summer season at Kiddieland Amusement Park on Your screen.
