Attention Chicagoland Railfans!
I just recieved this upcoming steam train charter fantrip notice. Preserved Canadian Pacific Railroad 4-6-4 Hudson type steam passenger service locomotive # 2816, will be heading a series of chartered rail excursions from Franklin Park Illinois, to Sturtvant Wiosconsin and back. I have also recieved word from a source or two, that Canadian Pacificx # 2816 will also be on the scene, for the formal dedication ceremony of the Grand Avenue Underpass.
These will be exciting events for Chicagoland Railfans.
