I took this mid day photo looking north, from one of the Metra / Western Avenue commuter rail station platforms. Just west of the Western Avenue station building, is this small railroad maintenance depot on West Hubbard Street.A Burro crane and two work service flatcars are occupying a siding track between on line railroad maintenance assignments.
