With a late 1970's era EMD F-40 PH passenger diesel locmotive on the head end, an Amtrak train enroute to Chicago Union Station, passes through Argo Tower and Junction in southwest suburban Summit Illinois. The single leval Horizon Fleet coaches indicate that this may be one of the Chicago to St. Louis Missouri corridor trains on the Illinois Central ex Gulf ,Mobile & Ohio mainline. This was a lovely and somewhat mild December day in 1990, with outside temperatures in the upper 40's.Monday, November 26, 2007
