I took this photo on a bitterly cold morning in Febuary of 2007. Seen here alongside Green Street just west of Wolf Road, is a former milwaukee Road mid 1970's vinatge EMD MP-15 DC yard witcher acquired by the Soo Line through merger in 1985. The Soo Line apparently never repainted it in full Soo Line colors and markings, and it has retained it's pre 1985 orange and black Milwaukee Road colors and partial markings. In 1990, the Canadian Pacific acquired the Soo Line through a buy out merger, and today 17 years later...one can still find locmotives and equipment in Soo Line and Milwaukee Road colors at work today.Friday, November 09, 2007
