I took this photo one evening after work, in late October of 2007. Seen here traveling in a westbound freight train on the Canadian National ex Illinois Central Iowa Division Mainline, is a gray former Illinois Central covered hopper in the late 1980's and early 90's reorganized Illinois Central markings and color scheme. The train is slowly rolling past the railroad crossing on Riverside Drive between West 26th Street and South Harlem Avenue.
