I took this photo after work one day last week. We are facing west, looking down from the North Central Avenue overpass bridge on Chicago's northside near Grand Avenue. The Ringling Brother's and Barnum & Bailey red unit circus train, is seen parked adjacent to the Metra Hanson Park commuter rail flagstop depot on the CP Rail ex Milwaukee Road mainline. The track it is resting on, is normally one of a few that are used to bypass the Hanson Park stop by freight trains going and coming from nearby Cragin Junction.Monday, November 19, 2007
