I took this photo looking west on Harding Avenue in west suburban La Grange Park Illinois.
Occasionally, relics from fallen flag railroads of recent years can show up on any given freight train passing through town. I took this photo on a sunny , but yet very cold and windy winter afternoon in January of 2007. Seen here on a southbound freight train traveling over the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad, is an orange 1970's era Hi Cube boxcar from the former Illinois Central Gulf Railroad.
