Chicago's Kiddieland Amusement Park in near northwest suburban Melrose Park Illinois was on borrowed time, and would close for good on Sunday, September 27th 2009.
Seen here during the last season of operation in June of 2009, is the miniature Kiddieland Limited 1950's era gasoline powered replica diesel streamliner passenger train rounding the southwest curve inside the Kiddieland Amusement Park.

Scenes like these will be missed by many Chicagoans.
