I took this photo one morning during My lunchbreak earlier this week, possibly Tuesday, December 8th 2009. Heading northbound on North Harlem Avenue just north of West Devon Avenue, is a City of Chicago Department of Streets and sanitation Freightliner dump truck equipped with a snowplow up front.
The city of Chicago began getting it's first snows of the upcoming winter season on December the 4th 2009. A few of those not so pleasant Lake Effect snow storms soon followed. With a light snowfall at the time of this photo on North Harlem Avenue, this plow truck is ready for action.
