Eastbound Illinois Central Gulf transfer train traveling over the Belt Railway of Chicago tracks. Chicago Illinois USA. December 1985.
I took this photo looking west just below the South Kedzie Avenue overpass bridge by the Nabisco baking factory, in December of 1985. An eastbound Illinois Central Gulf Railroad transfer train, is heading eastbound past the Nabisco plant at West 73rd Street and South Kedzie Avenue. The train is more than likely heading to the ICG Markham Yard near Harvey Illinois or perhaps Homewood Illinois. The fresh winter snowfall made a nice photograph.
