I took this photo one quiet Sunday afternoon in early September of 1990.A freshly painted Union Pacific EMD large roadfreight diesel with Missouri Pacific markings on it's sides, is seen approaching the recently single tracked GTW crosstracks at Hayford Junction. The Union Pacific acquired the Missouri Pacific Railroad in a 1982 merger, and painted some locomotives in Union Pacific colors with Missouri Pacific markings.
