are two modern General Electric AC 4400 CW Wide Cab diesel freight locomotives from the Norfolk Southern Railroad, waiting to depart nearby Landers Yard with a transfer train. The Metra Wrightwood station was erected in recent years, and tastefully replaces a very run down Landers flagstop depot just east of South Kedzie Avenue. This was the former Wabash railroad.
