I took this photo one afternoon, in late May of 2007. Seen here is the recently erected Oak Lawn Metra commuter rail station, located on the Norfolk Southern ex Wabash Railroad maiinline. This modern brick station, replaced a rather makeshift 3 sided Bus Shelter style structure. This depot is located in southwest suburban Oak Lawn Illinois just south of West 95th Street near 52nd Avenue. This line sees Monday to Friday commuter service between Chicago Union Station and New Lenox Illinois.Wednesday, January 16, 2008
