Continental Trailways Bus Company Eagle motorcoach. Circa 1960's era.

I spotted this classic color photograph of a 1960's era Eagle motorcoach from the Continental Trailways Bus Company at my link page Northern California Bus Fans. This website is located to the right of your computer screen at www.norcalbusfans.com.

During the 1960's era in America, long distance interstate motorcoach bus travel was a very common and economical way to see America. Motorcoach operators like Continental Trailways even equipped their long distance buses back then with of all things "White Wall Tires" back in those days to lure travelers to far away destinations via the interstate highway system across the nation.

Photographer Richard Johnson took this photograph.  No other information was available here.

These shiny Continental Trailways motorcoaches, were a common sight in downtown Chicago Illinois during the 1960's and early 1970's era. I fondly recall seeing them in downtown Chicago as a kid back then.

Thanks.
