I took this photograph way back in August of 1988.
A westbound Metra local commuter train being led by an EMD F 40 PH locomotive that was still decorated in the late 1970's era RTA colors and markings, is viewed arriving at the Elmhurst Illinois Metra commuter rail station at York Street, on a very hot summer afternoon.
