I took this photograph on a very hot summer day, way back in August of 1988.
Rusting away on a siding after many years of use, this General Electric 45 Ton center cab diesel switcher locomotive from the Elmhurst Chicago Stone Company, appears to be canibalized by the company for parts, to keep their other G.E switcher in operation.
