After leaving nearby Hawthorne Yard in west suburban Cicero Illinois, a southbound Canadian National freight train, is waiting for clearance from the dispatcher to proceed south over the Belt Railway of Chicago trackage. The tall man made hills of the abandoned and long gone Bel Air Drive In Movie Theatre, give this location a remote sort of an appearance. This is not out in the country, but rather inside of the Chicago City Limits. There is bird and wildlife activity here as well.Monday, July 02, 2007
