A westbound Metra commuter train, has just arrived for a short station stop at Western Avenue on Chicago's near northside. Western Avenue station, is located on North Western Avenue near West Hubbard Street. This commuter rail station, was a former Milwaukee Road facility in years past. It is still a very active station. There is frequent coachyard switching moves from the nearby Metra California Avenue servicing yard, and light engine moves to and from Chicago Union Station.Monday, July 02, 2007
