I took this photo inside the demolition site of the Jakter Hotel at 47th and Kedzie, and actually got away with it! We are looking northwest toward West 47th Street from inside the demolition site. My how things have changed. In todays times, there would be a portable chain link rental fence surrounding the demolition site, and only authorized personel would be allowed there.
