I took this ariel view on a June 1999 visit to the Illinois Railway Museum located in Union Illinois. In what looks like a scene taken anywhere in Chicago from somebodys 2nd floor window during the late 1960's or early 70's era, is a Grandfather or possibly an Uncle getting off the trolley bus on North Austin Avenue on Chicago's northside. A nice on the spot reanactment.The city of Chicago Illinois had electric trolley buses in service from April 17th 1930 operated by the Chicago Surface Lines, to March 25th 1973 operated by the Chicago Transit Authority

Great Photo except -- the bus is signed wrong as Austin NEVER had Trolley buses
