Trolley equipment. The East troy Electric Railroad and Museum. East troy Wisconsin USA. September 2000.

I took this photo on a September 2000 Fantrip I had went on, with a Group from the Midwest Transit Bus Museum in Crest Hill Ilinois. We had visited the East Troy Electric Railroad and Museum, and also rode the nearby Kenosha Electric Streetcars. Seen here near the East Troy station, are an electric Steeple Cab freight motor originally from The Milwaukee Electric Railroad and Light Company, and later The Wisconsin Electric Power Company. Behind the freight motor is a former Milwaukee Road transfer caboose. To the right is a homemade open early 1900's era design 4 wheel electric trolley built by a private individual during the early 1980's, from plans and a small number of salvaged parts from various sources. It is a popular car here.

I love railroad museums like this one. With all that variety of equipment running on what would be normally considered a "Short Line" railroad...It's a full sized Model Railroad.
