I took this photo during a morning snowstorm on December 28th, 2007. Things were very busy at the Metra Western Avenue commuter rail station. An empty commuter coach transfer train is seen slowly passing the Western Avenue station, and is about to enter the Union Pacific ex Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad coahyard. The snowfall was very heavy that morning with low visibillity conditions around the Greater Chicagoland Area.
