I took this photo after work one day, looking southwest from the "New" overpass bridge that leads to River Road south of West 67th street.Seen here looking off in the distance, is a preserved 1981 vintage caboose, from the former Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad. This caboose is part of an exhibit in a local nature preserve known as "The Santa Fe Prarie".
This nature preserve is located on River Road in Hodgkins Illinois, in the back section of an industrial park, on the north bank of the Des Plaines River. ( out of view behind the caboose)
