A fringe benefit of railfanning on location with a camera, is those occasional "Rare Finds"coupled onto a rolling freight train. I spotted this former Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe covered hopper still rolling around in full Santa Fe markings and reporting marks passing through the Metra / BNSF Railway commuter rail station in west suburban Riverside Illinois. In the year of 1995, the Burlington Northern Railroad, and the Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe merged and became todays BNSF Railway. The old Santa Fe was always one of My personal Chicago railroad favorites growing up in the windy city.
