An era many older Chicagoans fondly remember, is that
period from the 1950's (Or earlier) in to the 1970's. It was
during this time, that there were many seasonal family owned
and operated little amusement parks, in the outlying suburbs
in the greater Chicagoland area.
This photograph I found on the internet, shows the lighted Merry
Go Round ride at the Adventure Land Amusement Park in
Addison Illinois, more than likely around closing time.
