I found this historic 1950's era Chicago photo on the internet today. One of the company's that made up todays Chicago Transit Authority, was the Chicago Motor Coach Comapny wich joined the 1947 formed CTA in the year of 1952.

The Chicago Motor Coach Company was merged in to the Chicago Transit Authority in 1952, so this photo dated for July of 1955 shows it actually working as a CTA bus a few years later and still wearing the original Chicago Motor Coach Company markings for a few years afterwards. The CTA proboubly repainted this bus not long after this photo was taken.
The CTA GM bus to the left, is already wearing the dark Everglade green and cream color scheme introduced by the CTA in the year of 1951.
Thanks.
