The new Glenview Public Library building nearing completion. Glenview Illinois. June 2010.

I took this photo one bright sunny morning back in June of 2010.

The New Glenview Public Library building was nearing completion along Harlem Avenue at Glenview Road in north suburban Glenview Illinois.

Unfortunately, a three week State of Illinois construction workers strike had set things back a bit. Construction has since resumed and the new facility will be opening soon.

The old Glenview Public Library building on the immediate west side of the building built in 1967, will soon be meeting the wrecking ball.
