Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad Baldwin 4-8-4 steam locomotive # 2912. The Pueblo Railway Museum. Pueblo Colorado USA. 2011.

This picture was just recently donated to My photo archives, by My cousin Allen Huff.

Allen and His Wife Kari, just recently took a vacation road trip to Pueblo Colorado.

Steam locomotives from the late steam era prior to dieselization on America's railroads during the 1940's and 50's era, were huge machines.

Standing next to one of these giants, is My cousin Allen. Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Baldwin 4-8-4 steam locomotive # 2912, was built during World War 2, and was one of the last "New" steam locomotives delivered to the Santa Fe.

These locomotives, were known as the 2900 Class 4-8-4 Northerns. These engines, were dual service locomotives used on both passenger and freight trains, until retired during the mid 1950's.

A sister A,T & S,F 2900 class 4-8-4 Northern #2903, is on display at The Illinois Railway Museum in the town of Union Illinois USA.
