I took this photo around sunset, way back in August of 1983. Seen here just west of South St Louis Avenue on the southside of West 51st Street, is a GTW official private business car used by railroad officials. The GTW Elsdon Yard was in it's final months of operation in Chicago, and this car may have been here in regards to the yards upcoming closure in October of 1983.Monday, February 11, 2008
