This is a photo of a place I would occasionally stop at for lunch in past years. Seen here on the northeast corner of South Archer Avenue and Pulaski Road in May of 1986, was a neighborhood grill and coffee shop known as Mount Pindo's. Mount Pindo's was a local dining favorite in Chicago's Archer Heights neighborhood for many local southwest side Chicagoans back in the days.Mount Pindo's closed recently, and another piece of local southside Chicago history has dissapeared. An era has ended on Archer Avenue.

One of the waitresses from the Old Mt Pindos, now owns the NEW Pindos.
