There is nothing like a mild Saturday or Sunday afternoon in December, to do some end of the year railfanning on location with a camera in hand.I took this photograph looking east from the railroad crossing at La Grange Road and Burlington Avenue, in the village of La Grange Illinois. approaching the La Grange Road Metra station and gaining speed, is a westbound Burlington Northern Railroad freight train.
