I took this photo on the southwest side of Chicago near Midway Airport. A southbound Norfolk Southern Railroad transfer freight train, is creeping along slowly over the Belt Railway of Chicago trackage near West 63rd Street and South Knox Avenue, in September of 1988. The Belt Railway of Chicago is a very busy railroad line, and sees numerous transfer trains from other railroads on a daily basis.
