A speeding westbound Metra express commuter train approaches the railroad crossing on Raven Street on Chicago's far northwest side, and zooms past the Norwood Park Metra commuter rail station. Norwood Park is a pleasant and upscale neighborhood on Chicago's northwest side, and commuter rail service is provided on the Metra / Union Pacific -Northwest line to Harvard Illinois. In past years, this was the Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad.Monday, February 18, 2008
