I took this photo on West Wellington Street on Chicago's northwest side, in early Febuary 2008.The winter of 2008, has brought heavy lake effect snowstorms and treacherous driving conditions to the greater Chicagoland area.
This is actually good news for people like the owner of this privately owned snowplow truck.
Heavy snowfall accumulation = $ $ $ this time of the year, when most landscaping and construction contracting jobs are experiencing the off season and a lack of work assignments.
