I took this photograph earlier this week, in northwest suburban
Franklin Park Illinois. This view is facing south, from the Metra /
Belmont Avenue station, on the Canadian National owned Metra,
Northern Central line. This route sees commuter train service -
between Chicago to Antioch Illinois, Monday thru Friday only.
Looking south across adjacent Belmont Avenue, we see an E B
Canadian Pacific Railroad freight train, passing through the CP
and CN cross tracks, at the junction where preserved Milwaukee
Road Tower B 12 had once stood many years ago, just east of
downtown Frankin Park Illinois.
