Chicago sightseeing boats in winter storage on the North branch of the Chicago River. Chicago Illinois. January 2007., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
I took this photo back in January of 2007.
Some visiting tourists to the city of Chicago Illinois may sometimes ask questions like..."Where do the Chicago sightseeing boats go during the off season?"
Some are docked at or near Chicago's Navy Pier during the Winter, however...I spotted these moored and shrink wrapped Chicago sightseeing boats near the North Ashland Avenue bridge, along the north branch of the Chicago River one cold and dry Winter morning.
Once it becomes mid to late April again, these boats will begin their annual operating season once again in Chicago.
