I took this photo way back in October of 1983.
A pair of Grand Trunk Western Railroad transfer cabooses, are sitting parked immediately north of West 51st Street near South St. Louis Avenue, at the very soon to be closed GTW Elsdon Yard.
This was taken during the final week of operation at the GTW Elsdon Yard on the southwest side of Chicago Illinois USA.
