A slow moving westbound BNSF Railway transfer train, passing through Hayford Junction. Chicago Illinois. Friday, November 21st, 2014.

In late November of this year, I had the opportunity one day, to
visit one of my favorite railfan haunts I went to a lot during the
1980's. Yes, good old Hayford Junction at West 75th Street and
South St. Louis Avenue, in Chicago's Ashburn neighborhood.

I got there just in time, to photograph this slow moving BNSF
Railway transfer train, passing through the former Grand Trunk
Western Railroad crosstracks, and entering in to the nearby Belt
Railway of Chicago's Clearing Yard facility.
