I took this photo on Chicago's northwest side, just east of the city limits with the village of Elmwood Park Illinois. An eastbound CTA Nova transit coach operating on the Route # 76 Diversey Avenue bus line, has just left the west terminal at West Diversey and North Neva Avenues, and will soon be heading to Chicago's lakefront by the Nature Museum. Route # 76 Diversey, was the first bus line in Chicago to use electric trolley buses begining on April 17th 1930. Trolley bus service ended on this line in June of 1955.Welcome to my rail fan page! Here you'll find information and pictures of railroad related items from the Chicagoland area, Wisconsin and Indiana. Enjoy your stay. All Aboard!
