I took this photo looking north from Hartigan Beach Park in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood near Evanston Illinois. Hartigan Beach Park, is located on West Albion Avenue a few blocks east of North Sheridan road. Lake Michigan is a cold and empty place in the winterime, but scenes like this along Chicago's north shore can be inspiring on cold sunny days.
