Autum festivals and parades have always been a fun family activity in the greater Chicagoland area.
I took this photograph during the October 1988 Berwyn Illinois "Houby Day" parade.
The uniformed police officer leading the parade in the go kart disguised as a police car, I believe may have been the Berwyn Police Chief.
It was a fun event along West Cermak Road that day.
