I found this classic 1970's era photograph from the former
Norfolk & Western Railroad at my Link page Fallen Flags

The Norfolk & Western Railroad, began using this solid black
with the large white NW lettering in 1971. These two N & W
high hood EMD GP 35 road switcher diesel electric locomotives,
are viewed at work pulling a freight train at New Haven Indiana.
