Remembering the early days of today's CSX Transportation Company. Bridgeview Illinois. 1986. (From the internet.)

One of North America's largest railroads operating today, is the mega
CSX Transportation Company. This railroad was created during the mid 1980's,
from the mergers of several railroads over several years.

This early CSX transfer freight train, is viewed traveling over the
Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad, during the year of 1986. The lead
locomotive is still wearing 1960's era Baltimore & Ohio Railroad
blue and yellow colors and markings, while the second unit is
wearing the 1972 Chessie System colors and markings from the
B & O's successor railroad.
