Pennsylvania Railroad Alco model RS 27 diesel electric locomotive # 2407 from the 1960's era.

Although the American Locomotive Company went out of business
during the year of 1969, there were several last ditch efforts with
various new and more powerful diesel electric locomotives being
offered to America's railroads, in the years leading up to the old
company's eventual demise.

A very unique and powerful locomotive marketed by Alco, was the
utilitarian model RS 27 diesel electric roadswitcher used for freight
service. Pennsylvania Railroad was the primary owner of this type.

I have a discontinued Life Like Proto 2000 Series model of this
locomotive in H.O Scale, painted in Alco demonstrator colors.
